MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty group within MultiCare Health System, delivering integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical and supportive care across Washington state. Each year, we diagnose and treat more than 6,000 new cancer cases across Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma and Yakima.

MultiCare Cancer Institute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical oncology team in a 0.5 FTE, shift-based role supporting weekend coverage. This position focuses on triage, symptom management, and inpatient support, providing vital continuity of care for oncology patients while offering a predictable schedule and meaningful work–life balance.
✔ 10-hour shifts — work Fri–Mon every other week ✔ Balanced, half-time FTE with stability + meaningful impact ✔ Core responsibilities include symptom management, weekend triage, and inpatient support ✔ Collaborative environment working alongside 20+ hematology/oncology providers ✔ Opportunity to support acutely ill patients during high-need windows
