Our specialty hospital is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to support our technicians and specialists in providing exceptional patient care. What You'll Do Veterinary Assistants support patient care and hospital flow through a variety of responsibilities, including:
Safely handling and restraining patients
Assisting technicians and specialists with treatments and procedures
Performing in-house laboratory work
Preparing and maintaining treatment areas
Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments
Restocking supplies and organizing equipment
Supporting hospital cleanliness and daily maintenance
Assisting the front desk team when needed A Day in This Role Might Look Like
Helping admit patients and getting them settled comfortably
Assisting technicians and specialists with treatments and procedures
Running in-house lab samples and preparing equipment
Keeping treatment areas organized and ready for the next patient
Supporting the team so appointments and procedures run smoothly

1–2 years of veterinary assistant experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to stay calm and focused in a busy environment
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
