Occupational therapists assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients recover or maintain skills for daily living. They provide therapeutic interventions and clinical care to improve patients' physical, emotional, and functional well-being.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a valid license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience and an American Heart Association BLS certification are required.
These roles focus on helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries and improve their physical, emotional, and functional well-being. Involves assessing, planning, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' abilities to perform daily activities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
