Under the direction of an RN Preceptor, the graduate nurse performs delegated nursing care activities based on demonstrated competence for the assigned patient population. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing education plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals on patient care.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to practice as determined by the State Board of Nursing, with less than one year of experience as an RN. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS HCP), and successful completion/eligibility for the Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license via NCLEX is mandatory within specified timeframes depending on the work location.
