The Primary Therapist, a Master’s Level Clinician, is responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy specifically for clients with eating disorders, while collaborating with other departments to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Key duties include establishing rapport, diagnosing disorders, conducting ongoing assessments, maintaining records, and coordinating necessary external services and insurance reviews.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and must be fully licensed to practice without supervision in CA, NY, and/or MA, with the ability to obtain licensure in other states. Essential qualifications include specialized experience treating eating disorders, strong communication skills, and knowledge of various mental health models and cultural considerations.
The Primary Therapist is a minimum of a Master’s Level Clinician responsible for the individual and family therapy of specific clients, and group therapy for a group of clients. The therapist specializes in working with clients with eating disorders, is mature, flexible, and innovative, and brings a loving, positive attitude to our expert Clinical Team. The Primary Therapist works well with other departments to create a treatment plan for clients.
