The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients, completing admitting and shift assessments and utilizing critical thinking to analyze patient data and notify physicians of condition changes. Responsibilities also include participating in treatment plan development, documenting care, implementing physician orders, and monitoring patient and unit safety.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing or possess equivalent education for licensing, with no prior experience explicitly required. Required credentials include Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification and a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of employment (IL, MO, OK, or WI).
