About the role

The surgeon will provide expert orthopedic hand care and perform various surgical procedures in a 100% outpatient setting. Responsibilities include treating musculoskeletal injuries and participating in general orthopedic call as part of a private practice partnership track.

OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic Hand Surgeons to join our practice in Richmond, VA.

About OrthoVirginia

OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia. We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. We also have MRI, injection suites, after-hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.

This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Hand Surgery
  • Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
  • Board Certification/Eligibility
  • MD or DO degree
  • Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure

Compensation Range for this position

$275,000 - $325,000

Requirements

Candidates must be fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeons with an MD or DO degree. Active or eligible Virginia state licensure and a strong background in hand surgery are required.
