Summary: Surgical ICU Intensivist Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach, Florida Position Responsibilities Our 40-bed surgical ICU (20 cardiac/20 neuro) is staffed 24/7 with an Intensivist. The physician will work about 12-14, 12 hour shifts per month, rotating between consecutive day and night shifts. As an Intensivist, you will be the SICU Attending with responsibility for Critical Care in-house response, initial evaluations of new admissions to the unit, and collaborate with primary attending or surgeon. Opportunity to be involved in the general surgery call pool. Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary critical care.
