The Physical Therapist implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs to relieve pain or restore physical function, working with an inter-disciplinary team to coordinate rehabilitation services for participants. Specific duties include performing participant assessments, developing care plans, documenting all care given, and maintaining clinical records accurately.
Candidates must possess a Physical Therapy degree (Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral) and hold current State of Michigan licensure. A minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population is required, along with the physical ability to lift patients and move equipment.
