Organize and conduct speech-language pathology services to rehabilitate patients with speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disabilities. Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers on health information and prevention.
A Brief Overview Organizes and conducts Speech-Language Pathology services to facilitate the (re)habilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities.
The Speech-Language Pathologist directs the patient's participation in selected activities/treatments to promote and/or maintain good health and communication.
What You Will Do Organizes and conducts the Speech-Language Pathology plan of care to facilitate the habilitation or rehabilitation of people with speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, psychosocial, and swallowing disabilities.
Directs patient participation in selected activities to establish, enhance, and restore speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, psychosocial, and swallowing abilities.
Performs evaluation(s), develops an effective treatment plan appropriate to a patient’s rehabilitation needs within the care continuum, initiates and participates in the discharge planning process.
Educates patient/family/caregiver in applicable health information, treatment and prevention.
Performs other department activities such as, but not limited to, documentation, billing, support of department operations, etc.
This position is a temporary position anticipated to end at a date agreed upon at hiring by Supervisor and Clinical Fellow.

Education Master's Degree MA or MS Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program.
