The primary responsibility is providing expert vascular access services, which includes bedside insertion of PICCs, midlines, extended dwell catheters, and peripheral IV catheters for clients. This role also involves the examination, assessment, and evaluation of patients with existing vascular access devices.
Candidates must possess a current RN license in the working state along with current ACLS and BCLS certifications, having also completed a vascular access competency skills checklist. Essential competencies include strong communication, personal effectiveness, and a focus on patient/client needs.
The job of PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist was established for the purpose/s of providing expert
vascular access services to the patients of our clients. Working within the guidelines set forth by the state
in which these employees are licensed and also working within the guidelines set forth by the Company,
the PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist will maintain a high level of professionalism and skill.
