The role involves providing direct patient care consultations and treatment for patients with serious illnesses, including managing symptoms related to life-limiting conditions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities also include participating in patient/family counseling, taking clinical calls, and actively contributing to the development and evaluation of the client's plan of care.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree and clinical rotation is preferred, along with a minimum of 2 years of post-education experience, with palliative care experience being preferred. Required credentials include current NP or PA Board Approved Certification, an active NC Medical License, and current DEA Registration.
