The Physician provides direct primary care medical services to La Clinica De Familia patients, delivering outpatient primary care within the scope of their privileges, primarily at one assigned site. They also participate in active problem identification and solving to enhance the clinical program and patient care, including quality assurance activities.
Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy and have completed an accredited residency-training program in a primary care specialty. Required credentials include licensure by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners (or eligibility), Board Certification in a primary care specialty, DEA certification, and New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification.
