The primary purpose of the Nurse Extern is to carry out routine and assigned nursing tasks and assist the nurse with carrying out patient care activities within the scope of their training and experience. Externs will gain valuable clinical experience working alongside Registered Nurses in the 2 North East Med Surg Unit.
Applicants must be a Sophomore level or higher Professional Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Candidates must also possess experience effectively dealing with the public and hold current CPR certification.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is accepting applications for a casual Nurse Extern with our 2 North East Med Surg Unit.
The externs will have an opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience and work alongside Registered Nurses.

Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
