The Registered Nurse – ESS Float provides essential patient care by working across various Rochester Regional Health facilities where assistance is most needed. Responsibilities include soliciting patient feedback, administering medication, giving and receiving reports, and ensuring complete patient care documentation.

Attributes
2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
NYS Registered Nurse License required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Experience in medical, surgical, critical care, and/or emergency patient care preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification preferred.
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
