Job Summary Neulife Rehabilitation of Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to provide therapeutic services to clients receiving behavioral health treatment.

This role focuses exclusively on direct client care and does not include supervisory duties.

The ideal candidate is client-focused, ethical, and passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life.

Principal

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with treatment plans Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and clinical documentation Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members Support clients in developing coping strategies and recovery skills Adhere to all ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and state regulations Participate in required meetings and trainings

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field Active or eligible Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern) Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment preferred Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Requirements
