Flex nurse duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Flex Nurses are assigned throughout the Branson Hospital and have varying schedules and unit assignments. The Flex Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients. This position qualifies for a float pay differential.
• Required: one (1) year critical care or emergency room experience OR two (2) years medical/surgical experience
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of critical care or emergency room experience, or two years of medical/surgical experience. An active RN license in Missouri and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
