The Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist collaborates with the treatment team to assess patient needs and coordinates interventions. They facilitate individual and family therapies and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Mental or Behavioral Health and possess relevant licensed therapist credentials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with current BLS certification.
A Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist with strong leadership abilities, communication, and problem solving skills who, with minimum supervision, collaborates with all members of the treatment team in assessment of patient needs related to discharge planning and coordinates interventions with other members of the treatment team to meet those needs in a quality cost effective manner. Collaborates with Utilization Review to ensure requirements for funding sources are met as well as to ensure that legal process requirements are met for patients on involuntary status. Facilitates individual and family therapies as ordered daily group therapy for assigned unit(s) and completion of comprehensive psychosocial assessments. Completes psychosocial assessments in coordination with assigned unit therapists to identify and seek to address patient needs. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Demonstrates leadership in the provision of departmental services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services/functions throughout NWTHS. Assesses or coordinates the assessment of patient healthcare and education needs and collaborates with all members of the healthcare team to meet those needs. Orchestrates patient hospital process for provision of seamless, efficient care. Demonstrates the ability to effectively allocate human and material resources to meet patient care needs.
