As a critical access hospital, it plays a vital role in meeting the healthcare needs of Oceana County and the surrounding rural communities. As part of the Trinity Health Michigan system, the hospital offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services, including advanced imaging, surgical services, primary care, and more. It is also home to a 24‑hour Level IV Trauma Emergency Center, providing immediate care and stabilization for patients in urgent need. Trinity Health Shelby Hospital remains committed to delivering accessible, high‑quality care that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well‑being of every person it serves.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Michigan RN license. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Requirements
