The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, and serving as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Responsibilities also include noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing patient discharge planning needs.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing or have equivalent education for licensing, with a preference for over one year of licensed experience, especially in pediatric hematology/oncology. Physical requirements include constant standing/walking, frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs, and maintaining constant alertness for safety.
