Perform practical nursing duties including patient care, treatment, and the administration of medications under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, maintaining bedside charts, and assisting with physical examinations and rehabilitation.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and meet Rhode Island registration requirements. Proof of immunity against several diseases (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and TST) is required for employment.
