The role involves observing, evaluating, and coordinating patient care within the Special Procedures department, participating in direct and indirect care activities according to organizational policies. Essential functions include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, monitoring vital parameters, and operating specialized medical equipment.
Candidates are required to possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice along with required certifications including ACLS and BLS. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and prior experience in critical care, medical-surgical, or a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure department are preferred.
Observes, evaluates, and coordinates the care given to patients in the Special Procedures department. Participates in direct and indirect care of all related activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy and mission of the organization.
