The LCSW, supervised by the Behavioral Health Director, will provide standardized counseling and talk therapy to patients with mild to moderate mental health conditions referred by primary care physicians. This role also involves addressing other social needs and utilizing referral sources for specialty care or advanced psychiatric assessments.
The candidate must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) interested in providing therapy to adults, children, and adolescents, with preference given to those having training and experience in play therapy. Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screen, background screening, and receiving an Influenza vaccination.
Northland Health Centers is currently seeking to hire a LCSW with interest and training in providing therapy for adults, children and adolescents. Training and experience with play therapy and children is preferred.
Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, the LCSW as a part of the primary care team, is responsible for providing standardized counseling/talk therapy, for NHC's Patient with mild to moderate mental health conditions who are referred by NHC's physicians and mid-level providers. The LCSW will work to address other social needs of patients and will utilize area referral sources for needed specialty care, hospitalization, or advance psychiatric assessments and treatments.
