The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical and administrative operations at the new gastroenterology care center, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate record-keeping. Key duties include preparing patients for examination, documenting vital signs and medical history in the EMR, and handling prescription refills and referrals.
Candidates should preferably possess a Certification of Completion from an accredited MA program (CMA or RMA) and have at least one year of clinical experience, ideally within gastroenterology. Essential qualifications include excellent communication, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems.

The Medical Assistant will support the daily operations of the new Parrish, FL gastroenterology care center by providing clinical and administrative assistance to physicians, clinicians, and patients. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate electronic record-keeping, and optimal patient care.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
The employee is frequently required to walk, sit; use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs. The employee should be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
