PET/CT Technologists perform high-quality diagnostic imaging studies following physician protocols, which includes preparing patients, positioning them accurately, and administering necessary agents safely. Key duties also involve monitoring patients during uptake, evaluating image quality, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with clinical staff while adhering to all safety standards.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program and hold a valid Florida license in the applicable field, along with ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification. Preferred qualifications include ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification, prior PET/CT experience, and demonstrated experience with venipuncture.

We are currently hiring a PRN PET/CT Technologist for our new Orlando location, with the opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position as the center continues to expand. This is a great opportunity to help launch a new imaging center while working in a welcoming, patient-centered environment that values your expertise and supports your professional growth.
Preferred availability between 7 AM – 7 PM with flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts as needed.

PET/CT Technologists at Precision Imaging Centers play a critical role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in an outpatient environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and image clarity.
Key Responsibilities Perform PET/CT imaging studies following physician protocols Prepare patients for exams and clearly explain procedures Position patients safely and accurately for imaging procedures Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media per protocol and safety guidelines Monitor patients during tracer uptake and scanning procedures Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary Maintain PET/CT equipment and complete routine quality assurance checks Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow Follow radiation safety and compliance standards Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program Valid Florida license in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, as applicable ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred BLS Certification Experience with venipuncture Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred What We’re Looking For Detail-oriented with strong patient care and communication skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Professional, calm demeanor in a fast-paced outpatient environment Willingness to learn and cross-train in additional modalities Motivated to contribute to a positive, team-focused culture Your Impact Starts Here
