The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for administering anesthesia and related care, including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care, working collaboratively under the anesthesiologist and department leadership. Core duties involve maintaining anesthesia care standards, performing psychological evaluations, reviewing and following the anesthesiologist's plan of care, and managing patient airways and physiologic homeostasis during procedures.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program and hold current CRNA licensure in Missouri, along with required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Experience is not explicitly required, but demonstrated clinical competencies, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to meet annual physical and certification maintenance requirements are necessary.

Knowledge & Skills: Experience and evidence of clinical competencies for acceptance into role. Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
