Position Details

• The LPN will administer medication and therapeutic treatments per the physician's orders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
• Administer/dispense methadone per State and Federal Guidelines
• Ensure adequate recording of the administration/dispensing transaction
• Ensure that the treatment plan of the physician and/or medical director is being followed
• Assess client response to treatment and medication dosage/interactions
• Maintain all medical records including but not limited to individual charts, daily medication charts, dosage records, progress notes, Doctor’s orders, etc., as required
• Monitor tuberculosis, HIV, and Hep C testing for all patients, assisting with outside referrals when necessary
• Provides emergency care as needed (CPR, PMAB, Emergency Medications)
