The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to unit policies, accepting responsibility for directing co-workers in implementing care plans. Responsibilities include completing nursing assessments, developing and revising care plans including discharge plans, implementing medical and nursing orders, and overseeing assigned staff like LPNs, CNAs, and PSAs.
Candidates must possess a current Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) License or an enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC) and require six months or more of nursing experience for specific units. Additional requirements include completing Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within fourteen days of the start date and fulfilling specialty certifications as required.
