The Graduate Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care modalities and performs routine care following physician orders and established guidelines, working with state-of-the-art equipment. Responsibilities include performing systematic patient assessments, implementing and revising care plans, and establishing therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Candidates must possess a Technical Diploma in Respiratory Care and must obtain Pennsylvania state licensure and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification upon hire, along with Basic Life Support (BLS). A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and the role requires developing informatics competencies related to patient care devices and electronic health records.
