The Licensed Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care in various healthcare settings, focusing on assessments and delivery of respiratory care. They also educate patients and families about lung diseases to enhance quality of life.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care and be a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Additional certifications such as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and CPR certifications are preferred.
PRN position available - Respiratory Therapist under the direction of the Directory of Respiratory Services is the direct provider of patient care in acute, subacute, and chronic healthcare settings to adult, pediatric and neonatal population groups. Respiratory Therapists will possess optimal skills in assessments of patients, delivery of care, and being proactive as an advocate for diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.
