The RN coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care and family education, across PCU and Med/Surg units. This role involves rotating across multiple Mayo Clinic sites to provide contingency staffing support based on patient needs.
Requires a baccalaureate nursing degree and at least one year of RN experience in a PCU or ICU setting. Must hold current multi-state RN licenses for Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida, along with BLS certification.
Please apply through the Nurse Residency Program posting, which is specifically designed to support new graduate RNs. Visit the Nurse Residency webpage [https://jobs.mayoclinic.org/nurseresidencyprograms] for program details including current and upcoming application windows. Within the Nurse Residency application process, you may indicate work units and specialties of interest. If selected to move forward, you will meet with a Nursing Placement Coordinator who will help you explore Mayo Clinic opportunities that are best aligned with your current and future professional goals. Together, we’ll identify a work area that provides an excellent foundation for your nursing career.
This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Holders of F1 status eligible for post-completion OPT are welcome to apply. This role is NOT eligible to participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification
During the selection process you may participate in a virtual (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the virtual interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question — Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps as appropriate.
