Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with patient and family-centered care principles. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit.
This is a WYH float pool comprised of registered nurses, nursing assistants, and patient safety aides with advanced competencies to care for patients in a variety of settings including acute care, intermediate care, critical care, and the emergency department.
NRT team members, at the direction of the central staffing office, are deployed to patient care areas across the hospital as needed in collaboration with unit nursing staff members to provide expert clinical care.
Once off orientation opportunities to cross train to areas such as non-invasive cardiology , wound care, virtual RN, and chemo as needs are available.
