The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and collaborating with team members to implement individualized care plans. They accept responsibility for the management and provision of care in accordance with policies and procedures.
A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree. Current RN licensure in the applicable state is required, along with the ability to perform basic nursing skills and communicate effectively.
Consistently utilizes appropriate communication tools when communicating within the interdisciplinary team and when handing off patient care. Communicates individualized plan of care to the patient and his/her chosen support system. Uses communication tools such as Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, and Question (SBARQ) to communicate more effectively. Documents appropriate information in a timely manner.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1 year of relevant experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
