The Orthopedic Tech performs patient care duties under the supervision of a Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse, including cast application and technical procedures. They also contribute to the operational support of the clinic and participate in educational activities.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred certification as an Orthopaedic or Medical Assistant. Two years of experience in Orthopaedic and/or Ambulatory settings is required, along with knowledge of anatomy and skills in cast application.

Education: High school diploma or GED; Orthopaedic or Medical Assistant certification preferred
Experience: Two (2) years of Orthopaedic and / or Ambulatory experience
Licensure: Orthopaedic Technician Certification preferable
Special skills: Must have a knowledge of anatomy and skill in cast application
Requires good manual dexterity; ability to use power equipment; assist with lifting patients, stand or walk most of work day and use good body mechanics.
