Performs mammography diagnostic procedures and assists physicians with image-guided interventional breast exams. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment setup, and ensuring the accuracy of patient imaging data.
Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from the New York State Department of Health. Must hold ARRT registration in Mammography and have prior radiology technology experience.
Performs mammography diagnostic procedures using x-ray and auxiliary equipment. Ensures proper information is obtained for physician diagnosis
