The primary function is to provide preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment for diseases and injuries in pets, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates through strict protocol adherence. Essential duties include obtaining client history, maintaining medical records, educating clients, and effectively communicating treatment plans to the team and client.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree, hold a state veterinary board license, and have a DEA license, along with proven ability to perform all basic surgeries. Required capabilities include strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and a compassionate commitment to pet care.
