The Clinical Intern will support the therapy team by assisting in group and individual sessions, observing therapeutic techniques, and helping prepare materials for activities. This role also involves supporting documentation and providing general client support under direct supervision.
The Clinical Intern will support our therapy team in providing high-quality care to clients at Apex Recovery. This internship provides hands-on experience in behavioral health, client support, and therapeutic programming under the direct supervision of licensed therapists. Key Responsibilities: Assist therapists in group and individual sessions. Observe and learn therapeutic techniques and interventions. Support documentation and charting as directed. Help prepare materials for therapy sessions and activities. Provide general client support under supervision, ensuring safety and adherence to Apex Recovery standards. Participate in team meetings and trainings.
Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism. Willingness to learn and take direction from licensed therapists. Learning Opportunities: Exposure to evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Hands-on experience in a clinical behavioral health setting. Mentorship from licensed therapy staff.
