The Surgical Technologist 2 is responsible for preparing and maintaining medical equipment necessary for surgical procedures and tending to the patient during pre-operation phases according to hospital regulations. This role may also involve transporting patients to and from the operating room.
Candidates need a minimum of two years of experience as a Surgical Tech, or one year of experience substituting for the completion of a Surgical Tech training program, along with a current BLS Certification. The role requires relying on education, some experience, and judgment while working under general supervision.
