Key duties involve managing incoming patients through triage, collecting and analyzing lab samples, performing diagnostic imaging, and providing nursing care for hospitalized cases. Assistants will also prepare for surgery, assist in procedures, manage anesthesia, and effectively communicate treatment plans to clients.
Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and demonstrate traits such as compassion, calmness, teamwork, multi-tasking ability, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in sample collection, medical history taking, lab processing, radiography, and anesthesia monitoring is considered a bonus.
