The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining blood and other specimens for laboratory testing as ordered by a physician. This involves verifying patient identification, preparing the skin site, performing venipunctures using aseptic techniques, and transporting labeled specimens to the Laboratory for analysis.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with post-high school education through an accredited phlebotomy training program being preferred. At least one year of experience is preferred, and PBT (ASCP) Certification or equivalent is preferred.

Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
