The Medical Technologist is responsible for processing and analyzing laboratory specimens across all clinical laboratory areas and accurately reporting test results. This role also involves maintaining laboratory records and strictly adhering to established quality control practices and laboratory policies.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science with at least one year of experience, or an associate degree as an MLT, along with certification (MLS, IMLS, MT, or IMT). Key requirements include proficiency in various laboratory tests, accurate documentation, adherence to compliance standards, and strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Responsible for the processing and analyzing of laboratory specimens and reporting of test results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory.
