Seasonal Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Transplant Operating Room

• Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay.

• Perioperative RN responsibilities includes preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative period of the patients surgical experience.
• Responsible for the delivery of nursing care through the framework of the nursing process.
• Perioperative nurse engages in patient assessment, collects, organizes and prioritizes patient data.
• Must function dependently, independently and interdepartmentally with the perioperative team members.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals making appropriate nursing referrals and delegates and supervises nursing care in the perioperative setting.
• Assess patient and/or family needs; formulates, implements and evaluates nursing diagnosis/problem list; upholds hospital wide nursing standards; maintains self- development and attainment of educational requirements; exhibits positive human relations and complies with unit and hospital standards for dress code, attendance and other Human Resource issues.

Education

• Graduation from a school of nursing with a current
• Florida license
• Experience: One Year experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications: FL RN license; BLS, ACLS certifications required.
