Team members are expected to be experts in the medical treatment of Hearing Loss and Tinnitus, using this expertise to build rapport and guide patients through lifelong management of these conditions. A typical day involves establishing patient relationships to conduct excellent medical history intakes, appropriate testing, effective counseling, and making trusted recommendations.
Candidates must possess either a Doctor of Audiology degree or a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) certificate, along with an active and current hearing aid dispensing license. The ideal applicant should also have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
