The Housekeeper is responsible for performing various housekeeping tasks to maintain the Long-Term Care residence in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition for all occupants. Duties include cleaning dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, operating floor machines, dusting furniture, and disinfecting fixtures daily.

The Housekeeper performs a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure that the Long-Term Care residence is maintained in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition for residents, visitors, and other staff members.
Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
What You Will Need
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
A minimum of public-school education is required.
