About the role

The Registered Veterinary Technician will be responsible for essential functions including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting with surgery and dentistry. They will also perform physical examinations, laboratory work, pharmacy duties, and provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients.

VCA Valley Animal Hospital of Sahuarita is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice in Sahuarita, Arizona.   • Schedule: Hospital hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. Rotating schedule We are a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital where patient and client care is our top priority. Our staff is cross-trained in every aspect of the hospital, from answering phones and greeting clients to induction and monitoring anesthesia. Our technicians are highly leveraged. Requirements

Candidates must possess documented previous experience and must have surgery experience, along with flexibility for rotating schedules including evenings and weekends. A CVT license is a plus but not required; strong customer service and communication skills are necessary.
