• Responsibilities: A neurosonography job involves performing ultrasounds on the brain, nervous system, and spine using specialized equipment, such as a Transcranial Doppler (TCD) to assess blood flow and diagnose neurological conditions like strokes, brain tumors, or aneurysms. The role requires strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, proficiency with ultrasound equipment, excellent patient communication skills, and close collaboration with neurologists to provide accurate diagnostic information to physicians. • Care: Prepare patients for exams, explain the procedure, and provide comfort and reassurance, especially for children or anxious patients.
• Equipment
• Operation: Operate advanced ultrasound equipment, including the Transcranial Doppler (TCD), to capture detailed images of the brain and nervous system.
