Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a certified Physical Therapist with specialized training in men’s and women’s pelvic health to join our growing team. This position focuses on treating both male and female patients experiencing a variety of pelvic health conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including both men and women
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for conditions such as urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pre/postpartum concerns, and post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Provide patient education on pelvic health, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic exercises
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with referring physicians
  • Stay current with evidence-based pelvic health treatment approaches

Qualifications

  • Required
  • Current state PT license in good standing
  • Experience and comfort treating both male and female pelvic health patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for helping patients improve their quality of life
  • Preferred
  • 1+ years of pelvic health experience
  • Pelvic health certification (CAPP-Pelvic, PRPC, or equivalent) OR commitment to obtain certification within 12-18 months
  • Herman & Wallace Level 1 or APTA Level 1 pelvic health training
  • Experience with manual therapy techniques specific to pelvic health

Requirements

A current Nebraska PT license in good standing is required, along with experience treating both male and female pelvic health patients. Preferred qualifications include pelvic health certification and experience with manual therapy techniques.
