The Ultrasound Technologist performs routine breast ultrasound procedures following established protocols, accurately inputting all required patient and procedure information into the system. They must obtain complete patient histories to assist the radiologist, perform exams timely, maintain patient confidentiality, and manage necessary supplies and equipment.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with completion of an Ultrasound course and current RDMS certification. Two years of Sonography experience is preferred.
