The Diagnostic Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic radiographs while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality. They must perform exams, verify orders, and assist radiologists while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Candidates must complete an AMA approved radiology program and hold a Mississippi State Board of Health Medical Radiation Technologist license. They should also be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT and possess a valid driver's license and CPR/BLS certification.
Performs diagnostic radiography under indirect supervision; ensures accurate imaging, radiation safety, patient preparation, and departmental support.
• Experience in hospital or outpatient imaging preferred.
