The Surgery Nurse Practitioner will assume the role of Cardiac Surgery First Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting in major cardiac surgical procedures and vein harvesting.
Well-established surgical group seeks a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or RNFA certified Nurse Practitioner to assume the role of Cardiac Surgery First Assistant.
Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience and be proficient in all aspects of first assisting for major cardiac surgical procedures, endoscopic and open vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and have experience with a high-volume CT surgery program.
This is a full-time OR position servicing over 100K residents.
